Larry Glass - Owner

It all started in the late 70’s, 1977, to be exact.  That is when he first stood behind a DJ mixer and played for a crowd. “I went out with my friends, and they were like ‘Get up and play some music,’ so I figured out how to turn it (the mixer) on, and it all started with ‘Sweet Home Alabama’,” says Glass.  The owner came up to me and said, ‘Who are you?’ and then he hired me.”  That chance incident translated into his career of date.  Glass says he started doing mobiles in 1981 and has played thousands of weddings, ceremonies and parties.  “I tell people what I can offer them, what I can do for them,” says Glass.  “When I meet with a couple, I come prepared, I put hours and hours of time into that one date.”  Glass says he goes the extra miles by meeting with reception staff to figure out what type of equipment to take, where to set up, where the dance floor is and other expectations.  At times, he even takes pictures of places to help the couple visualize what the ceremony will look like on their special day.  “I check out the facility, the schedule, I know that every facility has their own way,” says Glass.  “I’m working a month ahead and I arrive to the event an hour early.  I’m not just the guy who plays the music, I help them build a show.  I want people to remember that day.”

I have worked as a DJ for 12 years, 8 with LMG Attractions, and have been a Professional sound engineer for the past 20 years.
Born and raised in Riverside Ca. we moved to the Central Valley in 2005 and now located in Tracy Ca.

Venues worked in the Riverside area;

• Lake Alice Sports Bar, both as a DJ and Sound Engineer.
• Riverside Brewery, The Brandin Iron, Seville, and Jag’s
• DJ and MC for the Riversides Mayor’s Ball for last 4 years.
• Worked with the Riverside Orange Blossom Festival for over 11 years.
• I was the Chairman of the board of directors for two years and served on the board for 10 years. While on the board I was the Entertainment Coordinator for the 9 stages, booking over 360 bands for the two day event. I also hired all of the sound stage and lighting companies. This event drew over 250,000 guests over two days.

In the Modesto area I have DJ’ed at these places:

• Hero’s Sports Lounge, Sidelines, Modesto Sports Bar, Tymeless Cusine, Rookies,
• The Other Place and Lake Tulloch Resort.
• I have also been a sound engineer for the past 20+ years.
• I have worked with many artists, to name a few, Joe Diffie, Clay Walker, Vince Gill, John Tess, Josh Gracin, Kiss, Aerosmith, Chicago, Herman Hermits and many more.
• Produced a show in Los Angles at the Century plaza hotel for 3 years called “Best New Talent”.
• In Modesto I was the Event Coordinator for the “International Festival’, Booking all entertainment, stage sound and light as well as all logistics for the 2 day event.
• Have worked at the State Theater with many groups as a sound engineer.
• Have MC’ed several Bridal shows and events.  I have done many weddings and all types of parties; I prefer and consider Weddings to be my specialty.
